Our Team

Our Practice Philosophy

In all we do, Whitehall Dental Center is dedicated to maintaining personalized patient care at the forefront. Our team strives to maintain and keep patients fully informed of all of their treatment options, and we will never pressure you into any service or procedure. We will treat you like a family member from the moment you walk into our office, and we’ll never provide treatment or counsel that we wouldn’t provide to our own loved ones. We endeavor to educate patients on everything we do, from procedures to billing. We believe that dentistry should be pain-free, and our skilled staff and gentle methods help to ensure that’s the case. We believe that healthy smiles lead to healthier, happier lives.

Nan

Nan – Office Manager

Nan is our Business Manager who enjoys a commute from La Crosse. She is proud of her sons, Jacob and Joel, and three grandchildren. She enjoys spinning, weight lifting, hot yoga, travel, watching Jacob play Ultimate Frisbee and presenting seminars on OSHA/CDC and HIPAA in Dentistry throughout the Midwest. “Carpe Diem” (Seize the Day) is her favorite mantra in life.

Crystal

Crystal – Office Manager

Crystal is a longtime member of our dental team, having worked as a dental assistant and receptionist for a number of years before taking on her current role as office manager. Originally from Alma Center, she went on to study Elementary Education at UW-Stevens Point before deciding to transition to the dental field and studying at Chippewa Valley Technical College for Dental Assisting. What brought her to dental care was her wish to help people feel better about themselves with a great smile. Crystal always works to make our patients feel valued and comfortable like they’re family. Having assisted for 15 years, she has a great handle on our office’s schedule: She can see the best places to add emergencies with minimal effect on existing appointments, and she knows our patients and how to easily answer any of their insurance questions. What she likes best about working at Whitehall Dental Center is our patients, who have truly become family to her. When Crystal isn’t helping manage our office, she loves to spend time with her husband, Matt, and their three young adult kids. Her favorite activities include reading, fishing, hunting, baking, and watching local sports teams.

Brenda

Brenda – Dental Assistant

Brenda, a highly experienced and bilingual (English & Spanish) dental assistant, was born in California and raised for most of her early years in Georgia before moving to Arcadia, Wisconsin, her freshman year of high school. After graduating from Arcadia High School, she completed her Dental Assisting program at Western Technical College. She wanted to enter the dental field because it offered her the chance to see the progress and be a part of someone’s oral health. She also appreciates that it allows her to meet a lot of people who appreciate the work you do to help them. Brenda always strives to make patients happy and comfortable with the treatment and services they receive. She has a welcoming personality and is very good at multitasking. In addition to all this, she is a tremendous asset to our office and our patients owing to her fluency in Spanish, which allows for clear communication and treatment planning with many of our Hispanic patients. What she enjoys most about our office is that everyone on our team is always looking out for one another and for our patients, all in a very fun environment. Outside of work, Brenda likes going to the gym, rollerblading, hiking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. She also has an interest in doing other people’s hair and makeup.

Clarissa

Clarissa – Registered Dental Hygienist

Clarissa, a native of Osseo, graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School and went on to earn her degree in Nanoscience from Chippewa Valley Technical College. After a number of years in another field, she returned to CVTC to earn her degree in Dental Hygiene. What prompted the move to the dental field is she enjoys working with people and wanted a career that would use both her people skills and her natural affinity for the sciences. In her approach to her work, she prefers to help patients find the routines and tools they can actually maintain on a daily basis, working to individualize her recommendations for their lifestyles. She’s also been told her laugh contributes a lot to the warm atmosphere of our office. What she enjoys most about working here at Whitehall Dental Center is the feeling of family among our team and patients. Outside of the office, Clarissa loves to spend time with her family, especially her two boys, Dalton and George, who are her world and her heart. Some of her hobbies include camping, snowboarding, and playing games.

Danielle

Danielle – Registered Dental Hygienist

Danielle was born and raised in Blair, Wisconsin, and currently lives in Osseo. After graduating from Blair-Taylor High School, she went on to earn her degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College. What brought her to the dental field was that she always loved going to the dentist as a kid and loves getting to know people — she knew she wanted something in the dental field but wanted to be more one-on-one with patients. Danielle does whatever it takes to make patients feel comfortable, and she always wants them to understand how important their oral health is. Her hope is that they’ll enjoy coming to the dentist as much as she did (and does). Danielle is very easygoing, talkative, and friendly. She’s a fast learner and is always willing to stay late or make other adjustments to make sure that her patients are taken care of. She likes the fact that our office feels like a family and can provide professional care while still being laid back. She loves her coworkers and that everyone gets along well. When she’s not helping our patients, Danielle loves to spend time with her husband, Logan, and their fur baby, Oliver. Her favorite activities include hiking, fishing, hunting, gardening, and canning.

Sarah

Sarah – Dental Assistant

Our talented dental assistant Sarah is a Whitehall native. After graduating from Whitehall High School, she attended Chippewa Valley Technical College for a career as an EMT. While she was going to school, she was asked to work at our office on a part-time basis. She loved the experience, was trained on the job, and never looked back. When it comes to her approach to dental care, Sarah always tries to provide a clear explanation of any treatment that the patient might be in for and to make the patient as comfortable as possible. In addition to her experience, she brings to our office a willingness to help wherever it’s needed, whether it’s cleaning rooms, getting X-rays, or being there to assist her teammates. What she enjoys most about our office is how welcoming we are and how much emphasis we place on patient comfort and overall experience. Outside of the office, Sarah loves spending time with friends and family, especially her parents (who live just outside of Whitehall), her brothers, and her fiancé, Ben. Some of her favorite things to do are taking her dog, Darby, for a walk and working out.

Taylor

Taylor – Dental Assistant

Taylor is originally from Nekoosa, Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, she entered a Dental Assisting program at Western Technical College before joining our team in the summer of 2022. Part of what made her want to enter the dental field is she loves to smile and to help patients feel confident and love their own smiles. Taylor wants all patients to feel comfortable, but she especially enjoys helping those with dental anxiety to feel comfortable coming to the dentist. She brings a lot to our Whitehall Dental Center team, including her hard-working, go-getter attitude and friendliness to all. She is easygoing and easy to talk to, which our patients appreciate. She loves the family aspect of our office and getting to meet new patients. When she isn’t at work, Taylor likes to go hiking, help her boyfriend around the farm, cook, spend time with friends, hunt, and fish.
